Rep. Eric Burlison Announces New Healthcare Plan to Solve Affordability Crisis

Washington, D.C. — Congressman Eric Burlison (MO-07) today announced his vision for a new, patient-centered healthcare framework, MAHA, a two-part plan designed to lower costs, expand choice, and return control to American families.

“For too long, families have been stuck with a system that is too expensive, too regulated, and too unresponsive to patient needs,” said Rep. Burlison. “MAHA is a straightforward approach to make healthcare affordable again by empowering patients—not bureaucracies.”

The MAHA framework consists of two components:

• MAHA Insurance promotes competition, flexibility, and true price transparency in the insurance market.
• MAHA Accounts strengthen patient control and purchasing power.
