Burlison Sends Letter to ATF Director Daniel Driscoll Demanding Immediate Corrective Action

January 16, 2026

Washington, D.C. — Congressman Eric Burlison (MO-07) sent a letter to Acting Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Director Daniel Driscoll calling out the agency’s failure to implement recent National Firearms Act reforms and demanding immediate corrective action.

The letter addresses widespread breakdowns in the ATF’s eForms system following the elimination of the NFA tax and urges the agency to fix its systems, provide transparency, and stop undermining the law Congress passed.
